C++ Developer - real time software
C++ Developer with a minimum of 18 months development experience in a Windows environment, required for premier solutions provider to the bookmaking marketplace in Guildford. You must have experience and understanding of real time software and the issues involved, and be able to produce reliable real-time data processing intensive applications (services, multi-threading, process intercommunication, etc). You must also have an in-depth knowledge of NT*2000*XP System Architecture and Communications, experience of SQL Server 6.5 and 2000 with a good in-depth understanding of SQL architecture, and experience with network protocols such as TCP*IP and UDP. Good structured analytical skills, a problem solving aptitude, and good communication skills, both verbal and written essential. Ideally you will also have a good degree in a relevant subject, and be a Microsoft Certified Developer (MSCD). Team leading experience and customer facing skills also an advantage. Salary £35-45k pa depending on experience. Only candidates local to Guildford need apply.
